Miranda, the traveler behind Long After Landing40+ countries. One very picky traveler.
THE PERSON BEHIND THE NOTES

Hi, I’m Miranda.

I’m an American traveler of Cuban heritage, bilingual in English and Spanish, and a mom who loves a memorable trip—and a good deal. I’ve explored 40+ countries, lived in multiple countries, and even had a baby abroad. I’ve traveled while pregnant and with kids from newborn through age 11, so I know how much the little details matter.

My travel sweet spot? Luxury on a budget: beautiful stays, delicious food, and experiences worth spending on. I’m picky about where we stay and what we eat, and I share what worked, what I’d skip, and what we actually spent.

A basket-weaving lesson in Vietnam that became a running family joke. A window bed in a Rajasthan fort. A 3:45 a.m. alarm that led to a sky full of hot-air balloons. These are the moments I’m still talking about long after landing.

Long After Landing brings those firsthand recommendations together so you can spend less time researching and more time enjoying your trip.
